Personal Investment Management is an independent, SEC Registered, fee-based Investment Advisor firm.  Our business model, partly due to our intentional choice of legal registration status and partly due to conscious decisions we have made, is free of the inherent conflicts of interest that exist, to varrying degrees, throughout many other financial services businesses.  We do not accept financial consideration from investment product manufacturers, nor do we pay or accept referral fees or other forms of consideration that may cloud our objectivity.  Plainly stated, our interests are aligned with yours.

Our philosophy is that the most secure path to a sound financial future is a rational, detailed planning process resulting in appropriate strategies for savings, portfolio management and risk management.  This has been the basis for our value proposition to clients for over 25 years.

Our process begins with a risk-free, no-cost initial consultation.  We believe that our primary duty before accepting the responsibilty of serving a new client is to completely understand their needs, desires and expectations.  Therefore, while a portion of our initial time together involves communicating more about PIM, we do a great deal more listening than talking.
